John is a visionary leader whose guidance has transformed Unity Health Lab into a global frontrunner in laboratory medicine. He is also a board member of Medical Laboratory Professionals of Ontario. He understands the lab’s needs and has done a great job in improving lab operations and productivity across Ontario. He led the successful integration and harmonization of Unity Health Toronto’s three hospital laboratories: St. Michael’s Hospital, St. Joseph’s Health Centre, and Providence Healthcare, as well as the implementation of a new electronic medical record, Epic.
